Thomasin McKenzie cast in Taika Waititi's 'Jojo Rabbit'
Set to co-star alongside Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson
GCM is thrilled to announce that Thomasin McKenzie has been cast in Taika Waititi's latest satire film set during WWII.
Thomasin is set to co-star alongside Scarlett Johansson, Stephen Merchant, Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson.
The storyline of Jojo Rabbit follows a socially awkward young German boy, Jojo, (played by Roman Griffin Davis) raised by a single mother (Johansson) - whose only ally is his imaginary friend, who he perceptualizes as Adolf Hitler (Waititi).
Jojo begins to question his patriotism when he discovers his mother is hiding a 16-year-old Jewish girl, played by McKenzie.
Taika said about the film: "There's a message behind it, it's very much an anti-war film, it's got a real contemporary feel and contemporary sense of humour to it as well."
Jojo Rabbit is set to be released on October 18th 2019.
