Bio
Stella McLaughlin is a vibrant young actress and talented dancer. Training in dance since she was five, she is well known for her constant positivity and hard work. At 15, she began teaching dance while performing in productions at the Wellington Opera House and events like the Welly Xmas parade.
Recognised at her studio as Dancer of the Year in 2021 and 2023, Stella also received the prestigious Spirit Award in 2024 out of 300+ nominees for her optimism and dedication. She has directed several short films, successfully managing casts of over 15 people, and organised large dance performances of over 200+ people!
In 2022, she earned the Drama Distinction award at Wellington Girls College, and in 2024, her debate team reached the grand finals. With her passion for performance and creative storytelling, Stella is excited to continue her journey in the arts!
